A very nice list - FrostyTech is one of the few sites that tend to do things right. Or should I say, more accurately than pretty much all other tech sites.
This is important because it means their findings can be trusted more than what you'd normally see on all the other tech sites on the web. There are only a few sites that have ever reached that level of trustworthiness, IMHO. The very short list includes such sites as procooling.com, ocinside.de, electronics-cooling.com and the former ocwizard.com site.

One thing I do wish however, is that FrostyTech adjust its priorities regarding heatsink finish vs. flatness. It is more important for the surface of the TIM joint to be flat, than it is to be smooth. So while having the little "Surface Roughness Comparator" chart is a nice touch, it should play second fiddle to the flatness of the TIM joint as measured by engineering straight edge or laser caliper.

That said, I really don't have too much to comment on as far as the actual list goes. I mean, just look at this HSF:

Yeah, that's a 25x140x140mm fan rotating at 5000rpm. Each aluminum fin is 100x120mm, and the HSF itself is... get this; 180mm tall, 194mm long and 120mm wide! Sporting 10 (yes, TEN) heatpipes going to two separate shelves of fins!

zOMG.

Now speaking only from a personal perspective: When we're talking about HSF's this size, we've crossed over the line from high performance to the ridiculously overkill. But hey, if a few degrees or a few decibels are that important to ya', then by all means - go for it! Me, if I wanted/needed cooling that required a 140mm fan, I'd probably just make the switch to watercooling...
